Hey guys

I have been into MM again (hunderd time) and while the testing is going fairly well (as making blitz races)
I have a question: How come Midtown Madness 1 and possibly 2 will not support over 8 opponents? I correctly adjusted 2 files and after re-compiling and starting the game I once had 19/16 place. Then I tried again 10 opponents but after 5 seconds in game the game decides to crash and sometimes play the commentators voice indicating the race has ended.

I have another unanswered question I posted last year, is it possible to change the Cops for example in cruise and turn them into rapid fast Panoz GTR-1. Meaning you get chased... by a GTR. In my repley Carking said something about BMS files but that didnt help me any further.

Greetings MM1

Maybe because 8 is a sort of standard digital value?
Apart from that I think the number of opponents is build deep into the program, and the more opponents, the more data has to be calculated which the program maybe is not up to.
Just my guesses.
